The Fair Housing Council of South Texas (FHCST) invites you to attend our free, family-friendly event entitled “Hocus Pocus Corpus: A Fair Housing Focus” being held to provide free community resources and educational information to residents living in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.

This free event will provide attendees with:
❎ Community Resource Fair from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
❎ Presentation on Renters’ Rights from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
❎ Raffle prizes for attendees of Renters’ Rights presentation
❎ Door prizes to first 30 households who sign-in at our registration table
❎ Free trick-or-treat candy to attendees!
EVENT AGENDA:
12:00 pm to 3:00 pm – COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR (3 hours)
❎ Connect with local housing advocates, get information on city resources, and much more!
❎ Pick up free Halloween candy from exhibitors! Costumes are encouraged… but not required!
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – PRESENTATION ON RENTERS’ RIGHTS (1 hour)
❎ Learn about renters’ fair housing rights, NEW eviction laws in Texas, repairs, and much more!
❎ Speak with a housing counselor about your fair housing issues!
❎ Enter a raffle drawing to win a HEB gift card. But you must attend the presentation to win!
